CUKS Film Screening: 'Masquerade' (광해, 왕이 된 남자) (2012)

CUKS are proud to screen 'Masquerade', a historical South Korean film about fifteen days in the reign of King Gwanghae (the fifteenth king of the Joseon dynasty) who was deposed eventually in a coup d'état.

Court plots, mismatching identities and beautiful period costumes go into this 2012 film, starring Lee Byung-hun and Han Hyo-joo among other stellar casts.

It is Korea's 6th highest grossing film of all time and worth watching for anyone interested in early modern Korean history and S. Korean film in general!

A film not to be missed.
